Field Trips

Experience the beauty and history of historic Belle Mont Mansion when you bring your class for a field trip! Students will be guided around Belle Mont by our knowledgeable docents and learn all about Belle Mont’s history, architecture, Tuscumbia and Alabama history, life in early Alabama, and more!

On the tour, students will be able to fill out Belle Mont’s special trivia game and engage with objects and items in the home, allowing them to fully connect with history at Belle Mont. 

Belle Mont’s field trips can also be curated around curriculum or subject. Please mention when you book if you would like to have the tour focus on a certain aspect or curriculum. 

Additional Programs:  Belle Mont works with local artisans, scientists, historians, and beekeepers on a daily basis, and they can be part of your field trip too!

Please be advised that additional programs are subject to the presenters availability. We recommend booking field trips as far in advance as possible to make sure presenters are available. 

Belle Mont has a sweeping lawn that is perfect for picnics. Students are invited to bring their lunches and eat amongst the trees and nature of Belle Mont.
